HetSys is an entirely new EPSRC-supported CDT which will train people to challenge current state-of-the-art in computational modelling of heterogeneous, real-world systems across a range of research themes such as nanoscale devices, new catalysts, superalloys, smart fluids, laser-plasma interactions etc.

Research Fellow (Post-doc) position in Micromechanical Modelling of Lithium-Ion Batteries

Submitted by Lukasz_Figiel on

The post is funded through a recently awarded four year European H2020 research project SINTBAT (Silicon based materials and new processing technologies for improved lithium-ion batteries), and coordinated by VARTA.

PhD Studentship in Multiscale Modelling of Nanocomposites Manufacturing

Submitted by Lukasz_Figiel on

PhD Studentship in Multiscale Modelling of Nanocomposites Manufacturing is available at the International
Institute for Nanocomposites Manufacturing, WMG, University of Warwick, UK.

Due to funding restrictions, funding is only available for well-qualified UK or EU students. Other motivated students are encouraged to apply but will need to secure their own funding. Candidates should hold a 1st or 2.1 degree in any science or engineering discipline which had a significant materials/engineering simulation content.

Please see the attached PDF for more details.
