help in load steps in ansys

hi every one

i am modeling a reinforced concrete beam in ansys, but should i only applying the load or should i make a load steps?

and if i must make a load steps......how to do it?

please if any one can put a text file for commands used to model a reinforced concrete beam and make a load steps ......that would be great
