Dear All,
I am new to ABAQUS and trying to simulate my microdamper for fundamental mode frequency. In simulation (Version 6.9), I am trying to set silicone oil properties. This microdamper has three layers viz. Aluminum, Polydimethyl siloxane (PDMS) and Aluminum. I have carved microchannels in PDMS and filled silicone oil to these microchannels.
Silicone oil properties are:
Shear modulus = 1.43e9 Pa
Bulk modulus = 1.0349e9 Pa
Density = 760 Kg/m3
I am currently having difficulty modelling fatigue analysis on a wheelchair frame with hollow circular sections (pipe 16). When assigning the stress locations it says that the stress is not available for that node.
Any help would be appreciated!
