i had done the problem in following conditions
convection,const temp(outside),heat flux(inside)...
steady state.
but my work is on unsteady state
can any one help me in this problem in ansys

I am trying to model a composite material in ANSYS. I have used ANSYS for simple simulations before but I have never done composite material analysis. I have attached a simple schematic of what I am trying to model. Can you guys please help me? Any tip you can give will help. I have limited time.

Viscoelasticity in Abaqus
Hi All,
I would like to use Abaqus to model the viscoelastic material behaviour of a polymer.
I have material data from a simple uniaxial creep experiment (nominal strain vs time). I tried to use the viscoelastic material model in Abaqus. I am a bit confused as to how I need to enter my data (what format).
The manual says I have to specify the normalized bulk and normalized shear compliance .
where is the shear compliance and the volumetric compliance

I was trying to run the first UMAT example in the Abaqus verification manual ( umatmst.f is the file name). I imported the input file umatmst.inp and then ran umatmst.for
However it showed me an error saying ifort.exe missing. I have installed Intel Fortran compiler. However now it shows the following error.
fortcom: error: Illegal Character in statement label feild [s]
fortcom: error:First statement in file must not be continued

frequency analysis of delaminated composite plate
hi i am doing frequency analysis of a delaminated compostie plate. for this i created delamination using cohesive elements. i defined the contat pair. but when i am submiting the job i am geting one worning.
i.e specifed type of interaction canot be resumed in this type of step.contact pair defintion cannot be written to odb.
please can any one please help me in this regard
