I need to determine the centre of rotation of the head of the femur and acetabular bones using Abaqus.
How can I find the centre of rotation for a sphere and a concave surface (the head of the femur and acetabulum bones) in Solid Edge?

what is the exponential curve used in ABAQUS to model the softening (damage evolution) for cohesive interaction? Reading the documentation, I find the equation for D (damage variable) in linear and exponential cases. But the exponetial curve is not given there (maybe it is not given explicitly).

My work is related to creep in ceramics. Often I find the relation between the creep strain rate and stress as:
creep_strain_rate = constant x stress x other_factors (1)
In this paper, we investigate the formation of band-gaps and localisation phenomena in an elastic strip nearly disintegrated by an array of transverse cracks. We analyse the eigenfrequencies of finite, strongly damaged, elongated solids with reference to the propagation bands of an infinite strip with a periodic damage.
