hello everyone..i am working on project of self healing study of Glass fiber reniforced polymer (GFRP) composite. i want to know how we can induce a micro crack in GFRP and is ther any technique except SEM to know the condition of crack.

Pls be informed that I am using abaqus explicit to model my
pipeline that
embedded in soil. In standard, Coord 1 means x co-ordinate,
coord 2 means Y
co-ordinnate and coord 3 means Z -co-ordinate. But I can not
undestand the
meaning of CoordMP(nblock,j) in explicit. I want vertical
co-ordinates of some
elements of my model but if I put CoordMP(k,2) it shows
always a constant value
for all elements which make no sense.

I just constructed a VUMAT which including 3 state dependent variables ( nstatev =3 ), let say these three state dependent variables each have a initial value of 10, 20 and 30, may I know how to assign these initial values into the simulation or VUMAT?
So far I follow the manual to assign the initial value via input file with material properties command as below (the line started with "*Initial Conditions" is line 361):
