Research experience from a physicist

Just back from Prof. Mahir Hussein's seminar. He is really one of best physicist I  have ever met. In past 30 years, he published more than 200 papers in the field of nuclear resonance, laser accelerated particles etc. There are more than 30 papers published in PRL alone. When input his name " M.Hussein" in arXiv.org, you can easily found 95 papers by him.

Hello Everybody,

As researcher, eventhough we know all the theoretical background of our research, some time it is really very difficult task to write an attractive research proposal. Is there any standard format to write a proposal? Your advice may be helpful to few of the research guys like me.

My undergraduate and master major is engineer mechanics. I have took several courses about this field, like theory of elasticity and mechanics of materials. But my major during master degree is plant bio-mechanics, especially the role of water surface tension and water transport. So I deeply feel that I need to learn solid mechanics again. That is why I choose this course.
