The oral presentation program for the 1st International Conference on Abrasive Processes (ICAP-1) is now available at the conference website (www.icap.elsevier.com). Evolving from earlier meetings [the International Conference on Liquid and Solid Impact (ELSI-IX) and the International Conference on Erosive and Abrasive Wear (ICEAW-II)], ICAP-1 will be held in the historic city of Cambridge, England, 21-25 September 2008.
