Our partner Weizmann Institute Science in Israel is currently trying to fill a PhD position for the FiBreMoD project. The title of the PhD project is "Microscale matrix and interfacial properties of fibre-reinforced composites", and will be supervised by Prof. Daniel Wagner. The Composite Materials Group is currently looking for a postdoc, with experience in production and characterisation of composites. It's a £2-year position, starting on the 1st of February 2017. A Senior Researcher/Researcher position is available at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), at the Department of Wind Energy in the Section of Composites and Materials Mechanics. The Section consists of about 30 people and has modern laboratories for manufacturing and mechanical testing of composite materials. Research is conducted in research projects usually with external national or international collaboration. The research focusses on composites materials consisting of long, aligned fibres in a polymer matrix for use in wind turbine blades. 

Fully funded PhD positions are available to work in any area of theoretical solid mechanics. The candidate will officially be associated with the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad, India.
