Project 1 is on nonlinear nonconservative dynamics of fiber-based flexible piezoelectric composites for complex 3D deformations (involves theory and experiments)

keywords: vibration, piezoelectricity, nonlinear, dissipation, plates, actuation

The Center for Modeling Simulation and Imaging in Medicine (CeMSIM) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute invites applications for a postdocotoral associate position to work on projects related to fast computational methods in solid mechanics. Desirable qualifications for this postion includes, but is not limited to the following:

1. PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics or related field.
