I am seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to work on theoretical and computational
modeling of Traumatic Brain Injury. The position is available immediately. The
potential candidate should have a
Ph.D. (or must have completed the requirements for the Ph.D.) with a background in Solid Mechanics, Biomechanics or related field. The candidate
will be a part of Hopkins Extreme Material Institute (hemi.jhu.edu), under the
guidance of K.T. Ramesh and myself.
A postdoc position is available in Dr. Qi’s group in the
Mechanical Engineering Department at University of Colorado Boulder starting
from April, 2013. The project will involve mechanics and design of polymer
composites. Candidates should have strong background in solid mechanics,
physics and constitutive modeling of polymers, and computational mechanics. Interested
candidates should send his/her CV together with a list of 2-3 references to

Postdoc Free Access Program
For scholars who recently received their PhD’s and currently do not have a research position, we are pleased to offer unlimited complimentary access to all our journals and books on ScienceDirect, for up to 6 months. http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/authorsview.authors/postdocfreeaccess
A post-doc position is available at the VSB - Technical University Ostrava, Czech Republic on multiaxial fatigue. Because VSB-TUO is joint in our FADOFF project on validating multiaxial criteria (www.fadoff.cz) and development of PragTic fatigue solver (www.pragtic.com), I expect a close cooperation with the successful applicant. The deadline for an electronic application is nevertheless very close - next Monday August 20, 2012. See the brief version (http://www.pragtic.com/docu/Postdocs_VSB_brief.pdf) and full version (http://www.pragtic.com/docu/Postdocs_VSB.pdf) of the call - the position on multiaxial fatigue is K4.
