The Department of Engineering (ENG) at Aarhus University is looking for an innovative and visionary Associate Professor in the Section of Mechanical Engineering. We currently have two postdoctoral research positions available in the Injury Biomechanics Laboratory at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA starting Fall 2020.  These positions involve the development of high-fidelity finite element head models and the design of computational studies to advance our understanding of traumatic brain injury (TBI).  The first position is focused on blast-induced TBI, and the second position is focused on pediatric TBI.

I am seeking to hire two post-docs for a new multidisciplinary project in my group titled "Distributed intelligence in kirigami-inspired flexible architectures". In this project we aim to implement ideas such as logic, information processing, and autonomy in materials. This work will draw on a number of disciplines, including information theory, soft robotics, kirigami/origami and geometric design, 3D printing of stimuli-responsive materials, morphological computing, etc.

We are looking for an Assistant Professor who can strengthen our position in the field of Multiscale modelling of multifunctional supramolecular materials at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands. I am seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Phase-Field modelling of fracture to join the Design of Machines group at the Polytechnic Engineering and Architecture Department (DPIA) of the University of Udine. The position is fixed-term for 1 year with funding provided by the European Social Fund (ESF).
