Introduction
The Department of Civil, Environmental, Architectural Engineering and Mathematics (DICATAM) of the University of Brescia (UNIBS) is offering a post-doc position within the 2-years reasearch project PRIN PNRR 2022 “A digital framework for the cutting of soft tissues. A first step towards virtual surgery” focused on analytical and computational methods for the modelling of brain tissues.
The Department of Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering (DICCA) of the University of Genoa (UNIGE) is offering a post-doc position within the 2-years reasearch project PRIN PNRR 2022 “A digital framework for the cutting of soft tissues: A first step towards virtual surgery” focused on multiscale modeling of the complete cutting process in human brain tissues.
1 Ph.D. position (36 months) within the research activity related to the PI ERC Consolidator Grant "SFOAM" will be funded by and available at the University of Trento (Italy).
The financial conditions offered with this Ph.D. position are in line with those of all Italian Ph.D. schemes, designed to be compatible with the cost of living in Italy, where medical care is free and accommodation costs are reasonable.
A fully funded PhD position in "Damage Mitigation in Lightweight Marine Composites" is available at the University of Genoa (Italy), within the activities of the newly formed National Center on Sustainable Mobility (Spoke 3: Waterways, Work Package WP1: Energy Efficiency).
The research project will investigate the response of marine sandwich composite structural systems, to design concepts able to mitigate damage and to improve resistance, resilience and energy efficiency of mobility systems in waterways.
