Modelling moisture in abaqus
Urgent need help,
Can anyone help me how to start modelling moisture in abaqus,
what are the parameter needed to input in abaqus,
i'm working on modelling adhesive couple with effect of moisture

One Ph.D. position is now available starting October 2013 on
magnetorheological elastomers in the Solid Mechanics Laboratory of
Ecole Polytechnique, France. The potential student will work on the
development of new experimental procedures and high fidelity numerical
models for the understanding and constitutive description of
microstructured magnetorheological solids. Students with strong
interest in new coupled problems and strong background in engineering,
physics or/and mechanics are encouraged to apply.
Hello!
I am trying to generate acoustic waves in aluminum bars and plates to simulate an experiment we are performing in the lab. We use piezoelectric actuators to generate and receive the waves in the lab. I know that similar simulations have been done in Abaqus, however, I an having difficulties getting the simulation to work. Is there a tutorial or does anyone have any experience with this kind of simulation? Your help is appreciated ! Thank you.
Cheers.
Dear All
My name is Paula , I am new user in CFD coupled with ABAQUS. I would like to know and understand how can I simulate cell wall filled with of water. If the tank sloshing example good way to start with cfd/ABAQUS? .
The problem
is that the cytoplasm ( high % is water) has an internal pressure. I
would like to make the simulation with outside presure ( hydrostatic pressure)
and find which is the outside pressure to brake the cell
wall and the cytoplasm gets free.

Dear All
Some one told me to define node-based-surface or element-based surface during defining General Contact in large deformation simulation. I tried my best to figure out how to do it. But i cudn't. I just know it can be done by editing the .inp file by making an element set. and making a surface from that element set.
Is there there anybody who have done it before?? It will be great help if you can explain me how to do it.
thanks in advance.
Dear Colleagues,
As part of the 50th Annual Technical meeting of the Society of Engineering Science (SES 2012)/ASME-AMD Summer Meeting to be held in Brown University on July 28-31, 2013, it is our pleasure to invite you to submit an abstract to the Symposium “Material Design and Biomimetic Material Concepts”.
