Dear all,

I am Amalya Khurshudyan from Yerevan State University, Armenia. In
2009 I finished my Bachelor Study and I wrote Bachelor Research thesis

Free Vibrations of Nonuniform Timoshenko Beams II

Submitted by CH von Kerczek on

This post contains the equations of nonuniform Timoshenko beam theory, a seconf order finite difference method for the solution of the free vibrations thereof and a Scilab computer program implementation. The implementation also allows for the calculation of static deflection for a user specified load distribution that can also contain point loads. A number of static and free vibration examples are given.

I hope this can be useful to students and others.

Short Review of Approaches in Multiphase Flow, Advantages & Disadvantages

Submitted by Babaei on

Hi,

I need some information about available approaches in multiphase flow analysis. What is need is a SHORT, QUICK review, paper, ... listing the giving information about different approaches and pros and cons of each approach and their application limitations.

There are many online resiurces available, but they are usually in form of thesis, too lengthy and detailed for my purpose at the moment.

Any suggestion is appreciated...

Thanks,

Hossein
