Hello every,

I am trying to create the model in ABAQUS CAE with cohesive elements. I try a simple 2D case.I did the following

1. i create two parts a) rectagular part

                              b) a line whick suppose to be cohesie elements later

2. I create two materials , elastic and cohesive

Then i create to sections Solid section and cohesive section

orthotropic nonlinear viscoelasticity/creep in Ansys

Submitted by André on

Hi,

I would like to know if there is any chance to simulate orthotropic nonlinear viscoelasticity/creep of CFRP in ANSYS (e.g. by means of user programmable features (UMAT subroutines) or using the software DIGIMAT or others)? For the nonlinear part I would like to use Schapery's method.

 Many thanks for yor help!

About Coupled Eulerian Analysis( pls help)

Submitted by sujan on

Hi!

Good Day.

Please note that I want to model a pipeline
which is on ground surface using CEL. I have applied the geostatic stess
only in step-01. But at the end of step-01, pipe is starting to move
upward. I do not apply any force on pipe but it seems to me that pipe
experienced some force which push it to move upward. Also, I do not
apply any gravity load for pipe.

Please advice.

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely-

sujan

History output from the file created with CAE

Submitted by ABAqirl on

Hello everybody,

I am looking for experts in ABAQUS CAE software. Its complex object-oriented structure make me confused. As it is known that history output requires  node sets, but this node sets are defined inside the instances. In order that the program understand which node sets is required one should mentioned then PART1-1.Instance. nodeset. But ABAQUS gives mistake. Experts, please explain me how it works.

Best regards
