Ionic Cable
This paper demonstrates a new type of interconnects to fulfill the primary function of axons: transmitting electrical signals over long distances and at high speeds. The interconnect, which we call "ionic cable", uses ions to transmit signals, and is built entirely with soft, elastic materials-elastomers and gels. The ionic cable is highly transparent, and remains functioning after being stretched nearly eight times its original length. We describe the design, theory and experiment of the ionic cable.

How to implement GTN Damge Model in Abaqus
Dear Friends,
I have to know how to implement a GTN Damage model in Abaqus. Is there any Examples or Tutorials to learn this technique. Can anyone possible to solve my problem.
I trying implement this Damage model for the axisymmetric Model. I have uploaded for your reference.

CZM using interaction module in ABAQUS
Hello everyone,
I am getting a strange bug regarding CZM in ABAQUS. I have discrete joints between two copper bars in a DCB sample. I use the interaction module to model the contact in interface between the joint and copper. The contact works pretty well in some of the joints while no contact forms in some other ones especially the leading joint! It means that seperation happens immidiately after job submission. I would really appreciate if somebody can help me with this.
Thanks,
Amir
