Help compile list of available micromechanics codes
Computer simulations will be used more and more for composites design and manufacturing. Before an engineer can simulate, there are at least two questions: what are the tools available and which one works for my problem. Thus, as a start, cdmHUB plan to compile a list of micromechanics codes for the community, including commercial codes, public domain codes, or research codes. To make the list as complete as possible, we need your help.

Geostatic procedure for partially saturated soil
Dear collegues,
I do geostatic procedure for partially saturated soil.
ABAQUS is used.
The model of soil - Cam-Clay.
Initial stresses in the soil are given.
The initial pore pressure as well set.
Material data is fully specified.
Nevertheless - the program displays an error message:
The sum of initial pressue and elastic tensile strength for the porous elastic material in element 1 instance full-1 must be positive.
May be somybody knows the reason of the message?

Transverse shear stresses in Reissner Mindlin theory
How is it possible to obtain the transverse shear stresses correctly, not constant, by Reissner Mindlin theory?
Equilibrium equation would be the first solution, but, once the second derivatives of bilinear shape functions are zero, no results is appeared.

writing UHARD subroutine in ABAQUS - power law hardening
Hello All,
I am required to incorporate the simplest form of constitutive law - elasto-plastic material with power law isotropic hardening in ABAQUS.
Does any one know where to look for tutorials on writing UHARD in ABAQUS?
Any help would be appreciated.
