I´m working in my thesis with abaqus only since 4 months, so I´m quite new. I have to simulate the welding of two sheets with electromagnetic pulse process. Under these kind of processes the material is load under high values of velocity and deformations. Taking into account these conditions I have chosen three different flow plasticity models:
-Isotropic plasticity model without strain rate with johnson cook damage ductile criterion.

Hi my friends,
I want to export both the stresses and the co-ordinates (x,y,z) at the
integration points using Abaqus CAE. I know how to get the stresses at the nodes
(unique nodal ) by using Visulaization module then report then unique nodal. But
when i try to report the stresses at the integration points, i did not find the
co-ordinates at the integration points as one of the output. I find only the
unique nodal.

I created a 3D model in Ansys, and when I wanted to mesh, I realised that the model was created in the wrong plane: the area I wanted to mesh was in the x-z plane, while the plane82 element I needed to use needs to be in the x-y plane.
Is there a way I can rotate my entire model instead of starting from the beginning?
In addition, how can I create a cylinder with the circle in the x-z plane and its depth in the y direction. Creating circles and cylinder only gives the option to create the circle in the x-y plane.

I am solving an implicit non-linear problem in LS-DYNA. I was not able to achieve convergence. I changed the default displacement andenergy norm (which are 0.001 and 0.01 respectively) to 0.009 and 0.05respectively, the solution converged. My question is, is it advisable to changethe default norms to achieve convergence?
We have carried out systematic experimental tests to evaluate the bonding strength and fracture toughness of adhesive joints. I want to make a simple composite structures of concrete embedded steel in abaqus. (If I am wrong kindly say) I have creted a "dependent" instances in the assemble module after doing the mesh. Then I have made the interaction with the step-1 and made a "surface to surface contect (standard)" having the master (concrete) and slave (steel) with contact (friction) property.
