Material Testing Machines
Can anyone guide me how to get crosshead speed range equal to or greater than 1:3000 in a motorized electromechanical material testing machine? The load capacity should remain same even at lowest speed.

Dear all, I am modeling a 3 plies plywood using abaqus. I am facing some problem in modeling the resin layer which bond the wood veneer. Does anyone know how to model a layer of thermo setting polymer in between 2 ply of long grain direction wood veneer? Many thanks!
excuse me.......
can any body tell how to animate a series of results please?
thank you.
Hi everybody,
I have a question about the shear modulus of polymers. As we know, the general engineering polymers (rubbers) are highly extensible and elastic. The shear modulus,G, for the polymers subjected to the small-strain conditions, can be defined by G=NkT, where N is the number of network chains, k is Boltzmann's constant and T is temperature in Kelvins.

hello i am in my first contact with abaqus i worked with plaxis but i want to model a pile in cyclic load i think that abaqus is more complete than plaxis but can any body show me how to start using abaqus in geotechnical problem
best salutations
