Full scholarships available at European Commission funded workshop on physics based material models in Izmir / Turkey

European Commission' s JRC (Joint Research Centre) is organizing the 3rd workshop on physics based material models and experimental observations (http://iwpmeo.org/) in collaboration with University of Oxford, Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung and Middle East Technical University. The workshop will be held in Izmir/Turkey on 2-4 June 2014.

The workshop will include lectures by keynote speakers: Prof. Alan Cocks (University of Oxford), Prof. Gerhard Dehm (Max-Planck Institute for Iron Research), Prof. Vikram Deshpande (University of Cambridge), Prof. Norman Fleck (University of Cambridge), Prof. Marc Geers (Eindhoven University of Technology), Dr. Wolfgang Hoffelner (RWH Consult GmbH, Switzerland),Prof. Sandra Korte-Kerzel (RWTH Aachen), Prof. Daniel Rittel (Technion Israel Institute of Technology),  Dr. Maxime Sauzay (CEA Saclay, France), Prof. Cynthia A. Volkert (Georg-August-Universitat Göttingen, Germany) and presentations by participants (oral and poster).

For the time being there is no registration fee for the workshop (on a first come basis). The refreshments at the coffee breaks, the lunches and the workshop dinner will be free of charge for the participants. In case the number of participants go beyond the workshop budget, we will have to charge a small resgiteration fee from the late registerations.

There will be travel grants available for participants coming from the target countries of European Commission's Enlargement & Integration Action. Please check the website for the list of target countries.
