Indentation test modelling on Ansys
I am currently doing simulation on Ansys regarding the indentation test for viscoelastic material. I have some problem with the contact element.. Can someone help me on?

Crack tip stress and formation of Plastic/influence zone for composite solid rocket propellants
The necessity to understand the crack behaviour of composite solid rocket propellants as it helps in analysis of service life of rocket motors. Experimental data reveals that a material’s microstructure at the crack tip can have a significant effect on the local damage near the crack tip and crack growth behaviour in particulate composites.
It is difficult to conduct post buckling analysis of thin shell under axial compression using Arc Length method in Ansys.
The Minimum & Maximum Arc Length radii are chosen by hit & trial. When imperfections are incorporated in the FE model, some times the solution diverges at a higher critical load that the eigen value buckling, which should be vice versa in actual. Some times , negative eigen values are also shown.
Is there any easy way to solve this nonlinear stability problem?

I am getting confused with a definition of nonhardened Material as I read the book Fracture Mechanics written by T.L. Anderson.
I got two understandings and am not sure which one is right.
1) Material with lower yield strenth, which was not work-hardened.
2) d(stress)/d(strain) = 0 after yielding.

STRESS DISTRIBUTION IN NANOTUBES
There are two very nice companion texts on continuum mechanics and nonlinear elasticity printed by Dover recently: "Continuum mechanics" by Spencer and "An introduction to the theory of elasticity" by Atkin and Fox. Great and fairly affordable reading!
Dear friends,
if i have one input file i will import by file---model---inputfile
the i will see what they did in othermodules, for learning from exapmle problem
but if i have morethan one input file mean main input file and node information and element information both are seaprate input for reduc thesize of file.
how to import via part--model--
so how to merge this more than one input file
thanks and regards

I am looking for acadmic material to address contact & Geometric (Large deformation) non-linearity problem. Can anyone provide the material to address these two concept in details.
Thanks

All,
Can we used Neuber Plasticity correction method to composite material to estimate equivalent elasto-plastic stress from linear elastic stress results ?
Can anybody provide some document which support the usability of Neuber method to composite ?
Thanks
