The 6th International PhD Student Workshop on Durability of Reinforced
Concrete will be held in Delft, The Netherlands, during July 4 and 5,
2013, hosted by TUDelft. After a series of successful workshops, most
recently in Espoo (2012), Madrid (2010) and Guimarães (2009), IPSW2013
will be held under the auspices of RILEM EAC (Educational Activities
Committee), aiming to bring together young researchers in the field of
durability of concrete.

This workshop, aimed at PhD students dealing with concrete durability (in a broad sense), is free of charge.

We cordially invite you to participate in the minisymposium "Materials for Extreme Environments: Multi-Scale Experiments and Simulations" at the 50th Society of Engineering Science Annual Technical Meeting (http://www.brown.edu/Conference/ses2013/). The Meeting will be held at Brown niversity, RI, USA during July 28-31, 2013.

The SES 50th Annual Technical Meeting will be held July 28-31, 2013 at Brown University (Providence, RI, USA).

I would like to invite you to submit an abstract to the symposium: "Experimental Nanobiomechanics", under Mechanics of Biological and Soft materials.

Due to a large number of requests, the deadline to submit an abstract to the 12th US National Congress on Computational Mechanics, to be held in Raleigh this summer, has been extended to March 15, 2013. Students and postdoctoral fellows should note that there are travel awards  available for the Congress.
