一、论坛简介

华中科技大学于2012年创办了“国际青年学者东湖论坛”(以下简称“东湖论坛”),至今已成功举办五届,共邀请到来自30多个国家和地区的近1000名优秀青年学者来校参会。

“东湖论坛”旨在为海内外不同学科领域的青年才俊搭建一个学术交流平台。通过专题报告、学术研讨和人才洽谈等形式,共同探讨国际科技前沿话题,追踪学术热点问题,开拓学术视野,启迪学术灵感,促进交流合作,引进各学科海内外优秀青年人才。

ICILSM 2018: International Conference on Impact Loading of Structures and Materials

Dear colleagues

We sincerely invite you to attend the coming International Conference on Impact Loading of Structures and Materials to be held in Xi'an, China during May 7th-11th, 2018.

The list of topics includes but is not limited to:

  • Material behavior at high strain rates (lightweight alloys, composites, polymers, metals, foams, ceramics, biological materials)

  • Structural failure under impact, energy absorbing systems and crashworthiness

  • New dynamic experimental techniques
