The XV Pan-American Congress of Applied Mechanics (PACAM) will be held at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on May 18-21, 2015. IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES

EMI 2015, the annual conference of the Engineering Mechanics Institute of ASCE, will be held at Stanford University on June16-19, 2015. It will be chaired by Prof. Ronaldo Borja ( Department of Civil Engineering, Stanford University).

Τhe Greek Association of Computational Mechanics (GRACM) in association with the Mechanical and Civil Engineering Departments of the University of Thessaly will organize the 8th GRACM conference in a series of congresses in the area of computational mechanics. The conference will be held between the 12th and 15th of July 2015 in the facilities of the University of Thessaly in Volos which is the host city of most of its academic departments.

You are cordially invited to attend X-DMS 2015 which continues and replaces the successful X-FEM conference cycle (Achen 2009, Cardiff 2011, Lyon 2013) and aims at including a wider variety of methodologies coming from different areas of computational mechanics and numerical analysis.

We are currently organizing a Symposium on Geomaterials: Poromechanics and Failure, for the upcoming EMI International Conference  "Mechanics for Civil Engineers Against Natural Hazards" in Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, from January 7th to 9th, 2015. 

We would like to invite submission for abstracts on modeling, characterization, and experimental studies on geomaterials for disaster prevention (landslides, earthquake) and for problems related to new energy applications (e.g. fracking, induced seismic events).
