Simpleware Case Study: Pseudomorph Modelling
In this project, Simpleware's image processing and mesh generation software was used to complete an ancient geological process through new technology. The goal of the project was to create a pseudomorph, an object that maintains an original shape over time while changing its inner materiality.
PhD and PostDoc Positions: Li-ion batteries for large-scale electrochemical storage systems
Li-ion batteries for large-scale electrochemical storage systems: Fundamental studies, life-prediction and optimization
This project on Li-ion batteries will focus on experimental, theoretical modeling, and numerical simulation-based approaches aimed towards managing electro-chemo-mechanical degradation, capacity fade, and power loss. Moreover, thermal management and safety aspects will be looked at for life-prediction and optimization of Li-ion batteries.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
