The Mechanics and Aerospace Design Labotratory at the University of Toroto (Canada) is seeking high calibre candidates at the doctoral and postdoctoral levels to fill two vacancies.  Specifically, we are looking for individuals to work on the design and analysis (FEM and CFD) of a rapid inflation system for an emergency airbag. The candidates must possess good communication skills with a solid foundation in engineering sciences.

POSTGRADUATE AND POSTDOCTORAL OPPORTUNITIES EXIST

IN MECHANICS AND AEROSPACE DESIGN LAB IN UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO

 We are seeking high calibre Masters and Doctoral students as well as Post Doctoral Fellows to join a very active and dynamic group at the University of Toronto. We are dealing with very exciting projects, including: Nanoengineering, Structural Health Monitoring, Design of Fast UAV (M=0.85), Structural Integrity of Aeroengine Compressor and Turbine Disc Assemblies, Morphing Wing Design, among many others.

An Immediate vacancy exists for high calibre  postdoctoral fellows with interest in multiscale computational nanomechanics, nano-modified composites,  testing and validation. Specifically, we are interested in determining the influence of nanofillers on polymer composites. Candidates should expect excellent facilities, good salaries and exceptional working conditions.
