curvature tensor
Could someone explain me what do the curvature tensor mean at surface structures?
THX for the help!
References for failure / damage modeling
Hi,
I would like to know about the possible references for the modeling of failure /damage of materials in a finite element analysis software. Kindly suggest like books or research articles which illustrates the modelling.
thanks
EPFM on Abaqus
Good mourning, is it possible to perform an analysis within the framework of an elasto-plastic fracture mechanic on abaqus, and if it is the case could anyone give a guidelines for that, thank you
Post-doctoral positions on Multiscale Materials Modeling at IMDEA Materials Institute
IMDEA Materials Institute (www.materials.imdea.org) is looking for post-doctoral researchers to work in two research projects devoted to:
- Development of multiscale modeling strategies to simulate the mechanical performance of structural composites under impact
- Development of microstructure-based multiscale models to simulate the mechanical behavior of Ni-based superalloys
