Measuring mechanical properties of nanoparticle in nanocomposite using nanoindenter

Submitted by Azadeh Sheidaei on

Hi There,

I am going to measure the mechanical properties of nanoparticle in Nano composite using nanoindenter. I searched through the literature and I did not find any work that measure this individually and all of them measured properties of nanocomposite not the inclusion itself. ThanksAzadeh

Hello !!!

I try to model the softening  of the masonry resistance in time.

For that I have tested the Cowper-Symonds law that exists in Abaqus. but I can not understand until now the effect of this law sometimes seems to me that it reduces déformations. sometimes it affects the stress (decrease or increase). how this law can modifie the stresses?

if you have any details about Cowper-Symonds law please to answer me

Thanks

UMAT subroutine

Submitted by s_gupta on

Hey guys,

I'm new to using subroutines. I have installed the Intel Fortram Complier v10.1 and using it for running the subroutine UMAT. I am first testing the umat subroutine for Isotropic elasticity as given in the abaqus manual for a single element with one integration point, but I'm facing the following error:

Unexpected error 193

Abaqus Error: The executable D:\SIMULIA\Abaqus\6.10-1\exec\standard.exe
