Franc2D residual Load

Submitted by Sguaiz on

Good morning,

I am using franc2d and I would like to know how can I apply a residual stress field. The manual that I have states that I have to write an ASCII file with the extension *.rsi from the option residual load.

Does anybody know how can I write such file in order to input my residual stress field or has anybody an example file?

Is it also possible to apply another load with this residual stress field after inputting the residual stress field?

Thanks a lot,

Sguaiz

Superplastic Forming (SPF) analysis with Abaqus

Submitted by phamhuytuan on

Hello world!

I’ve been working with SPF analysis
recently. I followed the Abaqus example to solve my problem. But the result for
my pressure cycle isn’t as expected. It should have increased step by step from
the initial stage as in the real process. If it is possible, I will thank any
suggestions from whom related to this kind of simulation.
