Hoffman's plasticity UMAT
Hi everybody, First of all I would like to introduce myself, as a new user here. My name is Aleksander Marek and I'm student (3rd year of 1st degree) at Poznan University of Technology in Poland. I'm working on UMAT that accounts for Hoffman Plasticity and all of its simpler forms (Hill,
ANSYS , LS-DYNA: simulation of full penetration impact
Is
there any one here who could help me through the step-by-step creating and analyzing
a 3D simulation of ballistic, full penetration impact of a steel, rigid
projectile into the 3D composite plate?
note1: as i know,
available HASHIN damage model in ABAQUS isn't an appropriate tool to do
that. because it has an important restriction that confined you in the
"2D" damage analysis of composites and using 2D planar elements only.
note2: so, my preferred software is LS-DYNA or ANSYS-APDL now.

where to find the datum of plastic-damage model of concrete??
Dear all,
Where can we find the datum of plastc and damage evolution in uniaxial case for concrete of some specfic strength? It seems that datum associated with plasticity or damage can not be found in concrete code. But when you use the damaged plasticity model integrated in ABAQUS, these datum are indispensible.
Abaqus works well with fortran90????
I know this question is a not new one and it has been posted before. But these posts seems not completely answer this question. I tested for77 and for90 codes for isotropic elasticity respectively. The analysis based on for77 codes runs successfully and the for90 codes can be compiled successfully. However, the analysis based on for90 codes shows the following warning:
