Purdue University is actively recruiting for a Software Engineer in the Center for Prediction of Reliability, Integrity and Survivability of Microsystems (PRISM). As a Software Engineer you will create solutions to meet advanced computing needs by designing and developing applications that require high performance and distributed computing resources, scientific datasets, web and internet technologies, and graphical user interfaces. The successful candidate(s) will work on large-scale multi-resolution, multi-physics simulations of microsyst
Hi,
For any structure (beam/slab/column etc) subjected to a same (fix) load, If I am using different grades of concrete (M10, M30, M60, M80 etc), what will be effect on reinforcement? Will it remains same or change? Is there any thumb rule for same?
Whether percentage of reinforcement will remain same or change with change in grade of concrete?
Thankyou,
Amit
These blogs are the perfect way to develop many and various safety discussions covering large areas of industries. As a student of an MSc in Oil and Gas Engineering I would like to develop a discussion related to safety issues in the sector of well drilling and generally the operations associated with this activity.
Transportation and distribution are two sectors of industry which should also be mentioned regarding safety issues applied there. Many incidents are indicating that there is a need of some improvements in practices applied so far. So, my suggestion is to discuss this topic further.
