A fully funded PhD position in "Damage Mitigation in Lightweight Marine Composites" is available at the University of Genoa (Italy), within the activities of the newly formed National Center on Sustainable Mobility (Spoke 3: Waterways, Work Package WP1: Energy Efficiency).
The research project will investigate the response of marine sandwich composite structural systems, to design concepts able to mitigate damage and to improve resistance, resilience and energy efficiency of mobility systems in waterways.
