What is the meaning of "untenured associate professor" ?
The associate professor is not tenured? Are you sure?
It depends on the
It depends on the institution. At some universities, rank and tenure and independent beasts, at some they are not. At Penn State University, for example, one can even be a full professor and not be tenured. At some universities, rank and tenure are inextricably linked.
I hope this helps.
