Applied Mechanics Division

The ASME AMD Division sponsors the Applied Mechanics Division Student Competition in Track 7 and Track 12, generously funded by the Haythornthwaite Foundation. Full-time students working on a project, thesis, or dissertation that is at a readiness for presentation at IMECE are encouraged to apply.

This award, which includes a medal, a certificate, and an honorarium, will be presented at the AMD Honors and Awards Banquet, during the 2024 ASME International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition (IMECE 2024), to be held during November 17 – 21, 2024, at the Oregon Convention Center, Portland, OR.
