Computational Mechanics Postdoc Position at Columbia University
Dear colleagues,
Dear colleagues,
There is a PhD position available for UK/EU students at the School of MACE, University of Manchester.
This PhD opportunity in fluid dynamics/nanocomposite manufacturing at the University of Manchester. We are looking for a motivated student with a strong background in fundamental fluid mechanics, applied mathematics and computer programming.
2 PhD Research Assistant positions are immediately available. The research is on computational mechanics and materials relating to nuclear materials, energy storage materials, proteins, and composite materials. Applicants with background or interest in related research are preferred.
Temple University is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philadelphia is the sixth-most populous U.S. city, about 2 hours drive from New York City and 3 hours drive from Washington DC.
There exist positions for postdoctoral students in the mechanical engineering department at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in the areas of a) computational solid mechanics and b) experimental methods including biomechanical characterizations, biochemistry and molecular biology.
There exist multiple PhD positions in the mechanical engineering department at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in the areas of a) computational solid mechanics and b) experimental methods including biomechanical characterizations, biochemistry and molecular biology.
To apply, please send CV with a brief cover letter to hatami [at] uic.edu (hatami[at]uic[dot]edu) and put "PhD Application" in the subject line.
I have an opening for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Duke University. The project is a collaboration with experimentalists. and concerns problems in which fractures are driven by fluid flow through porous media.
The ideal candidate will have some background in finite element methods and mechanics, nonlinear coupled field problems, C++, and high-performance computing. Experience with fracture mechanics is useful but not required.
Multiple postgraduate student (PhD or Masters by Research) positions at Swinburne-Automotive Engineering Graduate Program (AEGP) funded by Australia’s Department of Industry Innovation and Science - Supervisors: Dr. Kwong Ming Tse & Prof. Guoxing Lu
Postdoc positions are available in the group of Prof. JG Zhu at Jiangsu University, China. Those possessing PhDs in the area of solid experimental mechanics are sought. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in deformation measurements and nondestructive techniques. Applicants should submit a full curriculum vitae to zhujg [at] ujs.edu.cn (zhujg[at]ujs[dot]edu[dot]cn) .
