The project addresses tissue modeling for the pharynx region and is a part of a larger project addressing the obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (mechanical, fsi, medical angles). See www.jobbnorge.no/ledige-stillinger/stilling/101325/phd-positions-in-sof… for further info. Deadline is 15 May.Expected start-up is summer 2014.
In the context of a European project involving partners in France, Germany and Belgium, we are seeking a motivated post-doc to implement a saddle-point search method in a discrete dislocation dynamics code to study thermally-activated dislocation processes, such as cross-slip, in complex microstructures. The start date is October 2014 and the post-doc will be based in Lyon (Institut Lumière Matière) but with strong interactions with the Laboratoire d'Etude des Microstructures, CNRS/ONERA near Paris.

I will receive my PhD in July, 2014. Now I am looking for a
postdoctoral position in Solid Mechanics. I have working
on Computational Mechanics for five years and my PhD research topic is
"Shape-Free Plane Hybrid Stress-Function Finite Element Method". Some
