The CISM Advanced Course on " CISM Advanced Course on "Architectured Materials and Metamaterials: Design Principles and Effective Properties" will take place at CISM Udine, Italy, from June 30 - July 4, 2025.

Lecturers and topics across recent advances in architectured and metamaterials will be addressed in this week long advanced course. Lecturers from an array of perspectives will be contributing.

I am organizing a mini-symposium on "Multiphysics Coupled Problems in Slender Structures" at the 2nd International Conference on Highly Flexible Slender Structures (HFSS 2025). The conference will take place from September 22–26, 2025, at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM, Kaiserslautern, Germany.

I invite you to contribute to this mini-symposium (please see the details in the poster attached). Interested authors are encouraged to submit a two-page extended abstract by April 4th, 2025.
