A short 5-month postdoc position is available in my Computational Biomechanics Research Group at the University of Glasgow. The project is aimed at combining image segmentation with biomechanical calculations and requires experience in scientific code development and nonlinear biomechanics.

Funded PhD positions in brain finite element modeling and material modeling within the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at UTSA

Two PhD positions are available within the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio for Summer/Fall 2022 or Spring 2023 in the area of impact biomechanics research focused on computational modeling, traumatic brain injury and injury protection technologies.

The overall goals of these positions, are to 1) integrate computational and experimental techniques to unfold mechanisms underlying traumatic brain injury (TBI) and 2) develop new generation of injury protection devices.
