zu besetzen. Die Stelle ist zunächst für die Dauer von 2 Jahren befristet. Eine Verlängerung ist nach den geltenden Regelungen des Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetzes (WissZeitVG) möglich. Es handelt sich um eine Vollzeitstelle. Die wöchentliche Arbeitszeit beträgt 40 Stunden.

Aufgabengebiet:

The Institute Structural Mechanics at the Bauhaus University Weimar is looking for a PhD-student who is interested in pursuing her/his PhD in omputational Mechanics. The PhD is about uncertainty quantification, verification and validation in the context of a multiscale methods that ridges atomistic domains with continuum domains.

Qualification

Applicants should have a M.Sc. and B.E. in Computational Mechanics, applied Mathematics, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

Requirements

We are looking for a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the area of Computational Mechanics. The position is available within the Institute of Structural Mechanics, chair of Computational Mechanics at the Bauhaus University Weimar, Germany. The key research areas of the chair of Computational Mechanics are Multiscale Modeling of Materials and Isogeometric Analysis.

We are
looking for a Postdoctoral fellow to strengthen our
Research Training Group 1462 Model Qualities that
consists of 12 PhD students. This is a fixed-term position for a
period of one year. A renewal for a further year is possible.
