Looking for Postdoc Position

I am
looking for postdoctoral position in the field of mechanical and material
engineering. I have my PhD from Louisiana State University, and currently
working with Dr. Khonsari at  Louisiana State University.

During
my Phd I was working on the material characterization and fatigue of metals and
composite materials using thermodynamic approach.

I have
the skills of modeling metals and composite materials failure using user
subroutines programing  in ABAQUS.

The Twelfth Pan American Congress of Applied Mechanics (PACAM XII) will be held in Port of Spain, Trinidad from January 2 - 6, 2012, in collaboration with the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.

What's that Car Noise? New SIMULIA Tech Brief Available: NVH Analysis with Rolling Tires

The sources of noise in a vehicle are many, including the engine, driveline, tire contact patch and road surface, brakes, and wind to name a few.  A Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) engineer is tasked with predicting these noises early in the design phase to make the necessary adjustments to ensure a harmonic ride, so to speak. The latest SIMULIA Tech Brief illustrates the effects that rolling tires have in contributing to NVH.
