Crack propagation analysis in cold rolling process using abaqus
Respected Sir,
orthotropic plates analysis
Hi, please help me on the simulation on the orthotropic material in ABAQUS. I have the parameters for the material density=1584;
Ex=127.9e9
Ey=10.27e9
muxy=0.22;
muyx=0.0177;
Gxy=7.312e9;How can i use the orthotropic or engineering constant to simulate the material. I want to calculate frequency for orthotropic plates.

Mass participant ratio in frequncy analysis
Dear all,
If anyone knows how to determine mass participant ratio related with modeshape in a frequncy analysis in Abaqus, please let me know.
Thank you very much.

Material Deposition and Element Activation Deactivation
I'm student working on welded Pipes. I used DFLUX routine in
Abaqus/Standard. I need help regarding material deposition so that
element ahead to the heat source should be progressively deactived as
the torch moves and behind to the heat source should be continously
activated. I'm new user of abaqus. Kindly help me.
I'll be really thankful for your cooperation.
Effect of fiber arrangement on mechanical properties of short fiber reinforced composites
2-D "tension-shear chain" model (Ref.1-3) is well known successfully capturing the basic mechanical features of staggered structures in shell-like biomaterials. Our recent paper appeared in Comp. Sci. Tech. developed a three-dimensional (3D) "tension-shear chain" theoretical model to predict the mechanical properties of unidirectional short fiber reinforced composites, and especially to investigate the distribution effect of short fibers.

modeling by ABAQUS
Hello,
I want your help
I'm doing a model by ABAQUS. I want to apply force in the first step and after that I want to change the geometry in the second step (I want to do a hole in my geometry).
How can I change my geometry after applying the force?
can you help me please?
Thanks
