Constitutive law

Submitted by mh_Ghayoor on

Hello every body

i need constitutive law for an ortotrhtopic material for plane strain condition for 90 degree layups.

i derived it from 3D constitutive law equation from below formulation

S = [T2]^-1 [C] [T1]

which C are stiffness matrix, T2 and T1 are transformation matrix

i need this equation for stress-strain behaviour at thickness direction (x-z plane) but my results dosent agree with ansys sofwtware

could any body help me, plz?

Dear all. Most of us are working already or planning join to oil and gas industry as an engineer,so you will do routine jobs frequently. I would like to share incidents/accidents and near misses those happened in the rig where I work and explain reasons ,how to avoid them. I hope you will benefit from this information in you future career.
