Submitted by zsc13810288137 on

Hallo,

i have the following problem, when i refine the mesh of Mode I fracture with XFEM, the Force Displacement curve seems not to converge.

Mesh Size:

15*15

25*25

51*51

75*75

the reaction force is going to be smaller and smaller...

can somebody help me? thank u very much!!

Reinforcement bar relation with concrete (grade) strength

Submitted by amitshah3333 on

Hi,

For any structure (beam/slab/column etc) subjected to a same (fix) load, If I am using different grades of concrete (M10, M30, M60, M80 etc), what  will be effect on reinforcement? Will it remains same or change? Is there any thumb rule for same?

Whether percentage of reinforcement will remain same or change with change in grade of concrete?

Thankyou,

Amit
