Hello all,
I have some stress relaxation data in the form of Stress vs. Time curves for different temperatures. I am planning on using a Prony series in Ansys to do this. Can anyone help with this? Any tips/tricks/references?

Does anyone know of a simple book, approximately 50 pages or so, for plasticity?. I am looking for something that is similar to Morton Gurtin's "Topics in Finite Elasticty" published by SIAM. This book is an uncluttered treatment of finite deformation elasticity and was very useful for me during graduate work. I am NOT looking for 200-300 page texts, becasue I will never get around to reading them.

Hi everyone,
I am trying to build polycrystal plasticity model by using UMAT subroutine in ABAQUS. As we know, the orientation of grain is always espressed by Euler's angles. What I want to know is how to assign different initial orientations to different grains using Euler's angles in Umat subroutine. Could anybody tell me how to do? Is there any example ?
Many Thanks,
