Debonding of web and flange connection of FRP I-beam
Hello everyone
I want to model the contact non-linearity between flange-web connection of FRP I-beam. I have modeled the flange and web of 3D deformable of shell element. I can't use VCCT technique between flange-web connection because it is based upon two surfaces not on one edge (i.e. web) and one surface (i.e. flange).
Kindly give some guidance to model the debonding of flange and web of I-beam.
Expansion of a function into a basis set

I am co-organizing a workshop entitled «Recent Trends in Predicting and Monitoring the Integrity of Composites (COMINT)» with Profs. Gilles Lubineau and Raul Tempone at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) and Prof. John Botsis at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). The aim of the workshop is to advance research on integrity prediction and monitoring of composites structures and will be held at KAUST on June 1st and 2nd 2015.
