The Structural Engineering and Infrastructure Materials (SEIM) group at Northwestern University has an opening for a postdoctoral Research Associate position to work on Multiscale Modeling of Infrastructure Materials.

Required qualifications for this positions are as follow

The International Research Training Group IRTG 1627/1 “Virtual Materials and Structures and their Validation” at the Leibniz Universität Hannover (Germany)  invites applications for 2 PhD positions in virtual testing of materials and structures (Salary Scale TV-L E13).

The positions are funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) and are available from October 2013 on. The funding period is 3 years.

The Institute of Mechanics, Department of Mechanical Engineering, is looking for an Assistant Professor (W1) „Computational Mechanics“ to start work from the next possible date. Further details can be found in the attachement.

for two post-doctoral positions, dealing with (i) laboratory experiments on hydraulic
fracture and (ii) ductile failure in metals. The primary focus in both

We are currently looking for a graduate reserarch assistant (Ph.D. applicant) in the area of Computational Solid/Structural Mechanics. Ph.D. applicants with a M.S. degree in the area of structural engineering or solid mechanics will be preferred. Experiences of developing Fortran (or C++) code will be a strong plus.
