Faculty Position in Solid Mechanics
There are three Ph.D. positions opening in our group: one in Cell/Tissue Mechanics, one in Mechanics of Energy Storage Materials, and the last in Metamaterials. We would like to fill these positions as soon as in the Spring, 2012. Qualified candidates with a M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline are welcome to apply. If interested, please send a copy of C.V. to boyang [at] uta.edu. Also, please indicate which position you apply.
There are TEN openings for postdoctoral positions in the Center for Nano and Micro Mechanics (CNMM) at Tsinghua University. The Center is an interdisciplinary innovation center supported by Tsinghua University, with specially focused interests in nanomaterials, nanodevices, nano-enabled energy and environmental applications. More details about the faculties and research area can be found at http://cnmm.tsinghua.edu.cn.
A Center for Combustion Energy has been established at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
The need for such a center is motivated by the central role that combustion plays in energy sustainability and climate change,
by the emergence of China as a major industrialized nation and her commitment to seek solutions to these global problems,
and by the potential that combustion can contribute to the advance of diverse disciplines of frontier science that involve reacting flows.
Joint postdoctoral fellow position at Northeastern University and Qatar University is available immediately, focused on development and analysis of novel materials and structures for protection of critical structures and components under extreme loading.
I am looking for a postdoctoral position.
