Postdoctoral position in topology optimization of pneumatically actuated sensing metamaterials at Czech Technical University in Prague

Submitted by jenda_z on

One month left to apply! With Ondřej Rokoš, we are looking for a postdoc to work with us on the computationally-driven design of pneumatically actuated microstructures with applications in active mechanical metamaterials (with sensing capabilities) and soft robotics. To achieve this goal, the project aims to develop new topology optimization techniques combining pressure actuation, internal contact, and multi-stability.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a Postdoc ASAP (potential start date Jan 2024) to lead a project on lithium metal batteries, involving the use of ultrasonic scanning to study electrolyte wetting (i.e. contact mechanics in porous electrodes) and cell formation. It's a pretty flexible position and focused on the process development aspect, you'll have close exposure to some large battery manufacturing companies. Lastly, you'll have the opportunity to work with and mentor 2 excellent PhD students and several mechanical engineering undergraduate students.
