Finger Motion Detection Glove Toward Human-Machine Interface

Submitted by mortezaamjadi on

Finger motion capturing systems have a wide variety of applications such as telerobotics, rehabilitation, and avatar control. While commercial devices are too costly, studies on such systems are either impractical to use or have speed limitations. This paper proposes a practical version of the glovebased finger motion capturing system.

User friction model in Abaqus : how to code an hysteretic friction behaviour ?

Submitted by remi_thanwerdas on

Hello everyone,

I have to use an hysteretic friction model. I am trying to code this in Abaqus by using the FRIC subroutine. The language is Fortran 77.

I am testing my code on a very simple model : two plates sliding on eachother. I apply a 1 cycle sinus displacement at the end of one plate and a apply some boundaries at the other side.

Hello all,

I've been trying to create an assembly level element set in Python. The closest I've been to it is with the following code.

mdb.models[Modelname].rootAssembly.Set(name='neoprene',elements=(mdb.models[Modelname].rootAssembly.instances['Rubber-1'].elements[12],))
